Their employees are the best around and are courteous and helpful. The selection and quality of meats and seafood items is awesome. Highland Park Market is always great to shop at. Its no secret theyre a little pricey, but it makes up for that in quality and variety. Their pre made dinners are perfect for nights you dont really want to cook but still want something tasty, and they have a great deli and bakery. You wont find a better sandwhich in Connecticut for the price.

When I have a relocation client who is new to town, I always pass along the name of this supermarket. I have used Highland Park for both of these events, and I am never disappointed. Highland Park is not your ordinary supermarket! This locally owned store not only provides some of the best meats in town, it has an amazing bakery and a catering service as well! As a very busy realtor in Glastonbury, I need a market that can cater a luncheon meeting or a Brokers Open House. When you check out, they will even bring your bags to the car and load it up with a smile! I just drove past many acclaimed bakeries the other day to get a cake for a birthday because they make better cakes than most bakeries around! Produce, deli, meat, local offerings you name it it will be great. They carry only the best quality of everything.
Now that Im older I can see why it has always been acclaimed as the best around. Excellent store that has survived the ages! I grew up hearing how highland park was the best store around and never appreciated it.
